Sometimes the smartest choice in life is to never open up your heart and even consider letting someone in. I've always known since 2 years ago that this is what i should do. And yet i did stupidly opened up my heart tiny bit thinking that there could be some possibilities left. At the same time, I psyched myself about guarding my heart...i suppose i went to the extreme of guarding my heart and i realised i did it too well. I lost all the desire i have left and i no longer believe in finding someone. It's gone...gone...gone...I am incapable of opening up myself. It's too hard.

While boss and i shared our religious viewpoints...he is an atheist, grew up with knowledge of the bible like learning science and shared that the most disturbing thing he found about Christianity is actually 'born-again christians' and not hell. He talked about how a repented murderer who found God doesn't deserve any forgiveness.

We talked about the article we read from here. A minister resigned from her church after her daughter died in the London Tube bombing in 05.

She says: “I rage that a human being could choose to take another human’s life. I rage that someone should do this is the name of a God. I am hugely offended that someone should take my daughter in the name of a religion or a God.

“I certainly don’t have any sense of compassion.

“Can I forgive them for what they did? No I cannot. And I don’t wish to.

“I say the name of my daughter’s murderer every day.

“I believe there are some things in life which are unforgiveable by the human spirit.”

She continues: “All my understanding of what it means to be a priest is peace, reconciliation and forgiveness.

I'm feeling extremely exhausted but can't help feeling i'm the crappiest friend on earth...thinking introducing new boys to a bestie who has just gone through a break up is the way to go. DUH.

No! I would have never understood how a broken heart is like from a failed relationship. But i do understand how it feels to feel not wanted and having to have your time wasted on a dream you think is going to come true. Just recalling the millions of times my bestie had to read my emails and listen to me going on and on about the same damn thing...she's always so patient and supportive in whatever i do. Never judging me. And here i am...thinking that when she says everything is ok, she's really tearing up in her room? Grrr...so ridiculously stooopid...

Anyways...to the same person who is now going through this rough patch...i also want to share why i think i have finally found the victory of never crying over any man anymore. It's through many years of shaping and brainwashing from all my gfs'...'aiyar all men are stupid la....'

Rach KJ shared with me when i was quite obsessive about this new guy whom i just got to know...simply because i think he's awesome :P i still think he is :P She sensed the danger and immediately told me...just remember...whatever you do..please guard you heart...BECAUSE it is the wellspring of your life (Proverbs 4:23). It started to grow in me daily, consciously applying the meaning of the verse every time i see the obsession coming. Guard your heart!!! My heart belongs to God...it's Him i'm serving...not men. I suppose it's different when you're in a serious relationship...(mine's only a crush)...your men is bound to break your heart because they are stoopid? And you will go hoo hoo hoo crying about how stoopid he is...how he can't read minds...etc...But all i can say is...just think of it this way...my bestie told me this all times...life goes on...life can go on well without men. I strongly still believe this is possible when you have a strong support, you can't rely on one man all along to pull you through...touch wood...he can be dead anytime too!! My support came from my mom...my family....my friends and especially you...I appreciate them...VERY MUCH...except the ones who decided to go behind your back and tries to be all sneaky...yeh go on...try harder!

Everyone fears uncertainty, i am still scared of it although i can guard my heart well nowadays... Many times, i think i'm not good enough or other girls would be a better match. 'Will he like me??' Ching's favourite phrase when she tells me off 'Don't stress!! Go with the flow! See how it goes la! Don't always think so lowly of yourself!'. I was stressing!! But not anymore!! It's at the back of my head sometimes...but really bestie...why need men when he doesn't even feel that he needs to plan ahead to be with you...when they don't even desire you as much or the flip-side of the coin is...are we expecting too much? My most positive reasoning: It's their lose.

YOU are one rare-hot-species-who-will-not-have-a-problem-finding-a-partner....don't worry...i have been praying for a good husband for you...like a sister i would want you to marry well....ultimately it's God's will...not our plans. You deserve a life filled with joy...and although a man adds to it...God plays the most important role. Again...for the millions of deeds you have done silently for others...i know how considerate you are...it contradicts what comes out from your mouth sometimes...you deserve something good.

Me drifting off the subject...and hoping to make some sense...yet not all men are stupid...maybe only the gay men are not stupid...i love my gay friends...i used to stereotype them while i think it's not natural...i still can't give a definite answer of what is right or wrong at this point...maybe at a later stage when i mature...and i believe it's not my position to judge. What i definitely know is that they also want to love and to be loved. I learnt how to be gracious like how they extended grace to many...and yet i often hear that we should extend grace to them...no...they are the ones who extended grace to me...the minute i judged them when i first met them. While it's important to find your own love....for me...it's important for me to show love than to find my love.

4 more days and i will be in Kch!! yay! unfortunately, dad's old old ninja landcruiser got stolen from the crown tower carpark last night while having annual dinner!dodgy thing is...the cctv showed the car parking in but could not show our car coming out of the car park...the guards may well be working with the thieves! dad's friend's son saw 3 young chinese(yes orang cheena le...) guys racing it at his yard at around 7 pm...heard the same from rick and twin's stolen landcruisers few years ago...never in a million years i would have thought sth like that would happen to us! especially when it's a really old ninja!A year ago, my uncle is literally dragged out from his car and the thief sped off in his landcruiser in front of Timberland hospital in broad daylight. Kuching ain't a safe place...pls keep in prayers...

The Five Tibetan Rites

Rite 1
Stand erect with arms outstretched, horizontal to the floor. Spin around clockwise, until you become slightly dizzy.

Gradually increase (in increments of 2) practicing from 3 up to 21 repetitions
per day, for each rite.

Rite 2
First, lie flat on the floor, face up. Fully extended your arms along your sides, and place the palms of your hands against the floor, keeping the fingers close together. Then, raise your head off the floor, tucking the chin against the chest.

As you do this, lift your legs, knees straight, into a vertical position. If possible, let the legs extend back over the body, toward the head; but do not let the knees bend. Then slowly lower both the head and the legs, knees straight, to the floor. Allow all the muscles to relax, continue breathing in the same rhythm. Breathe in deeply as you lift your legs and breathe out, as you lower your legs.

Rite 3
Kneel on the floor, with the body erect. The hands should be placed against the thigh muscles. Incline the head and neck forward, tucking the chin against the chest. Then, throw the head and neck backward, arching the spine.

As you arch, you will brace your arms and hands against the thighs for support. After the arching, return to the original position, and start the rite all over again. Breathe in deeply as you arch the spine, breathe out as you return to an erect position.

Rite 4
Sit down on the floor with your legs straight out in front of you and your feet about 12 inches apart. With the trunk of the body erect, place the palms of your hands on the floor alongside the buttocks. Then, tuck the chin forward against the chest. Now, drop the head backward as far as it will go. At the same time, raise your body so that the knees bend while the arms remain straight.

The trunk of the body will be in a straight line with the upper legs, horizontal to the floor. Then, tense every muscle in the body. Finally, relax your muscles as you return to the original sitting position, and rest before repeating the procedure. Breathe in as you raise up, hold your breath as you tense the muscles, breathe out completely as you come down. Continue breathing in the same rhythm as long as you rest between repetitions.

Rite 5
When you perform the fifth rite, your body will be face-down to the floor. It will be supported by the hands, palms down against the floor, and the toes in a flexed position. Throughout this rite, the hands and feet should be kept straight. Start with your arms perpendicular to the floor, and the spine arched, so that the body is in a sagging position.

Now, throw the head back as far as possible. Then, bending at the hips, bring the body up into an inverted 'V'. At the same time, bring the chin forward, tucking it against the chest. Breathe in deeply as you raise the body, breathe out fully as you lower it. For a recovery posture, click here .

1. First and probably many more encounter to come at my new workplace, i met a dickhead who has a big man personality in a small body with little capabilities and minimal mental flexibility.

2. Interrupted me when i was not even halfway through my conversation with his girl assistant.

3. Then the dickhead (manager of something affairs) blardy say to me..."So, What's the problem? What is wrong? So, is there any technical error you would like to correct here? I'm telling you now that i'm not changing any layout in the report. You're not in a position to comment and we send this to finance so that only the content can be checked!"

4. Oh yeh! Coming out from someone who has no experience or whatsoever with finance. I prepared 70% of that blardy report. Honestly, with that sort of presentation i could only say you're a creative shit for picking that design.

5. Like it's blardy my fault that you give me the report on Monday to review and expected it to be finalised and checked by end of the week not taking into account ammendments need to be rechecked by the auditors. Do you have management skills? And when i asked the girl if it's possible to get the layout changed? 'No, this is not possible, it is too late'!...when my chief opens his mouth...the girl then with her oh-so-tame reply...'I'll check with the designers.' *unfortunately...that's how it operates...i'm a nobody compared to a chief...sigh*

6. We are not selling Cleo magazines here...hello??? The readers/stakeholders need a fresh look??? The readers are mostly investors la...please...you think they are really interested in your layout apart from the numbers which look like it's all over the place?

7. My long conclusion is!!!!
-Someone who can talk big but act small often is most likely a politician in his past, present or future life
-Someone who has limited capabilities are defensive about their crappy work.
-Someone who's new at the company will always try to fart their way up by marking history ie: by suggesting a completely new look and apparently to save paper and be green..my report format is 6 pages less BTW with BIGGER fonts that is much user friendly...oh, maybe i should triple review and bitched about ur expenditure in hiring all these stupid designers who spent too much time reformating and left me correcting the blardy mistakes till 3 am! Some idiots...who think they are really some efficient ex-convicts.

8. Blardy ang moh dickhead and your ego. Don't know anythin, keep quiet la... PLEASE! Girls' Night Out- Bees & Flies

Organising a day out with ur girlfriends(i stress...they look like movie stars one lo) catching up on a fri nite at a pub/bar...is probably not the wisest thing to do...Bees and Flies were everywhere trying to land on my friends! Somehow, the bees and flies skipped me...am i surprised? No...I have a pork belly that can provide lard for 50 plates of kampua and i'm hostile. We were more busy eating Tako Balls than making an effort to be friendly.

My role for the night is to protect all 5 of them...(actually also to check out cute jap guys la)
The no.1 Tip to kill the bees and flies (the pathetic flies circling our tables doing their broadway moves...shorty bee and more shorty bees...eeeeeyucks...)

ANYways...since the red bull is still keeping me awake...there are just a few thoughts i need to pen down...just in case i died in a typhoon or sth in Taiwan.

For the first night, i have recognised that there is no perfect relationships...i've always had high expectations of how ppl should treat each other in a relationship...can't help it...i have a great loving father who loves my mom to bits...So yeh...i felt really blessed on behalf of the 5 of you...to be able to find the other half is rare(aren't you glad that you just dun have feelings for all those despos??)...and truly a blessing...altho men can sometimes be less insensitive than us girls(not sure about the 100% trusting men bit)...at least you are all cared for and loved...more importantly...you all are strong girls who are able to take care of yourselves...I pray...the rest of the 4 of you will one day settle down happily ever after tho i don't believe in fairy tales...but at least i know we have each other and God to fall on to when sheet happens :)

Had a really relaxing day today after my hormones decided to speak on a crappy Friday and to complain even more(i reli shudn't be)...can't stand the moody weather!!! On Thurs, i went to bed with disappointment without resolving them first:

i found holes when i washed my work jacket, not minor holes...but it ripped near the sleeves...arrrrrr...finally determined to loose weight (after taiwan)
baked bread pudding...determined it's definately goin to turn out to be better than Sean Wong's...turned out to taste like a bread loaf soaked in water...i did not put sugar and i'm supposed to soak it for an hour before baking...my logic told me 15 mins will do

The next day...

all my penned up frustration was triggered by my own choice and of cz hormones...gosh u really did push my button again and u seriously did not make me feel better like u tot u did! But, Angel really appeared to me later tat night and made me feel better...my eyes swelled like mad...thank you o...

napped whole arvo and woke up in disbelief after calculating many times in my head if it reli is monday tomorrow? to my horror my weekend went by too fast(still better than my KP days when there wasn't a single day i woke up without wanting to take a sickie)
Spent the whole night reading a good book "The Journey of Desire" by John Eldredge. I hope i will finish this book la.
Also, after much thinking...for the rarest of time, for once, i felt i am at fault so i am sorry, u are absolutely right i never gave you a fair chance to explain, and thank you, for putting up with my sheet all the time bcz i did too with urs! :)

Wat the...Western Australia...please think twice before using my tax money to pay $1k for someone who finds a criminal for bashing up a roo...why not use our tax money to blardy keep Bentley or all other areas safe!!! Ivan's 20th birthday today! Hip hip hurray! He requested for snow crab and crayfish dinner but family decided to celebrate his birthday at Bull Creek Hawker last night (i paid $82 dinner for 6 ppl...really cheap...ordered all the most expensive dish already) and he never stopped labeling me stingy after that..."Jie...Thomas(his best buddy)'s sister treated snow crab for birthday one leh..." Actually...the truth is...

Mom: Ivan, doctor say your cholesterol very high lei...cannot eat crab la!
Her 4 children: Mom, is that your way of saying let's go for a cheaper meal???

mom comes from a poor family back in her younger days...crab in Perth??? to her...it's really pan sai dinner...really missing dad bringing us for good food...at least he never thought food= poo!
at my rate of spending...i don't think i will ever afford a child let alone 4 children...NEVER...so mom, thank you for saving so hard for us...for mom, it's a Big improvement compared to her fresh off the boat days in Perth to be able to swallow a $15 Sambal Ocra...which probably is only RM2 for like a kg!!!

Out of a sudden...me is seriously craving for The Junk's grilled wings leh....i believe this place serves one of the best western food in Kuching...it is the closest to having a good authentic western meal in Kch.

Love the cosiness of the restaurant...great place to hang out with friends...my preferred spot is the seat right next to the window on the ground floor, next to the main road.

I met a similar cocker spaniel boy at the pet shop last week except it looked more like a cheena dog. Anyways...i've been looking for a dog like that for ages...but not only will it cost me freaking $1.4k but i will not have a house to live in if i bring that dog home. Mom banned me. I was seriously planning to buy him and hide it temporarily at Bethie's!

He will officially be my imaginary dog...his name is Hoogie No.2 (actually named after my crush in high school...Peter Hoogenband the Dutch Swimmer...so cute lo)

My first ever puppy i got when i was 15...i bathed and fed her during the first 2 weeks...then it became my kakak's dog(*i know i know...irresponsible but i still take her for a run and jump over the longkang*). I'm more responsible as i'm older now. When i left Kch, without me knowing and my consent...*tragic-nya!!!* mom gave it away in exchange of 1kg of sugar (some pantang of the new owner) which i still wanna know until today why sugar...and why 1 kg...at least sell for $$$ leh...

I also used to have another dog named Darkie (not technically mine, my dad's), a native local dog my dad brought home one day a week after Hoogie came into our family...he is smarter than the dalmatian. Darkie never wagged his tail when he sees strangers. But...Darkie RIP now liaw... *sob sob*

The Tings aren't that creative with pet names...so when our first cat Noel got lost (Ivan cried really badly)...we got a second cat...his name is Noel No.2...then he also never came home (Ivan cried really badly)...

Many guinea pigs, they breed like pigs anyways...used to put them into compartments and they mow the lawn nicely one. When Mom moved to Perth, she got her friend to sell it all bcz ppl do kill them and cook soup so that can breed like pigs also gua...
Labi-labi...then we released them into the ponds of dad's orchard...then we never saw them again the next weekend(Ivan cried really badly). But, apparently releasing labi-labi is good luck.
Tortoises...Ivan lost them overnight when he digged a man-made pond and let them sleep in it. (Ivan cried really badly)
A bare cat-sort of fox, a musang...we named it 'musang'...Apparently it is an extinct animal in Sarawak...one day it was stolen from our backyard after 2 weeks...(Ivan cried really badly)

None of the pets i used to have cost me any cent...arrr $1.4k shud i buy Hoogie No.2??? But, i'm scared i will be bored of it after sometime...I have to admit...when it comes to pets...i will never be like Bethie lo...she is the No.1 absolutely dog/animal crazy person i've ever met leh...no one can beat her...any dog also cute...the bulu jatuh one also cute...tats why i think u have such a big heart...cz u don't only sayang the more 'expensive' dogs...*thinking of Hoogie No.2 all day long*

For an eye opening experience, get a local Thai to introduce you to a 'Tiger Show' @ Soi Patpong/Cowboy.

I was a Thai food fan (minus the coriander leaves) until i stayed there for 10 days. So, pls don't eat Thai food EVERYDAY

At Ko Samui, choose your resorts north of the island. You'll be free from mosquitoes. We stayed at the Samudera Retreat at Choeng Mon Beach. Beautiful...

General Rule: Be more alert, when you go and withdraw money, go in pairs, walk in pairs & do not dress pompously.

Hitch a ride-wave on the roads and any car which stopped is willing to give you a ride for a small fare (If you're not local girl, better hitch a ride when there is more than one of you)
Important to learn how to say Left, Right and Go Str8 in Mongolian
Mongolian drivers drive an inch apart from each other, you'll be surprised to find a car in the city with no scratches
The whole city gets really foggy from coal burning during winter, if you could place an air humidifier next to you, it will not only help you breathe easier but also keeps you from static shock
Do not hand out money to the street kids (cruel but you need to), otherwise, a whole bunch of them will cling on to you..seriously...
